My Philosophy

I am not a very political person, but I firmly believe in Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

I believe that we are all created equal and that every person has unalienable rights and it is on us the people to protect these rights (beautifully stated in The United States Declaration of Independence).

In every cross-border transaction at least one of the parties is a foreigner somewhere.

I welcome diversity and therefore, in my practice, I fight for the interests of foreign entrepreneurs and individuals to make sure they enjoy the full benefits and protection of whatever jurisdiction they purposely avail themselves to, and that they won’t be discriminated upon their origin or background.

By charging flat fees whenever possible (as opposed to an hourly rate), I am able to offer the most value to my clients. I believe that hourly rates have a tendency to reward inefficiency and the client faces uncertainty about what the matter will cost. A flat fee billing system also encourages attorney-client communication because it eliminates the concept of “the meter is running”. However, some matters can only be handled on an hourly basis, but I will make sure that you have a good understanding of the cost you will have to face and may accordingly adjust my rates from time to time.

Transparency and honesty are at the heart of my practice and no matter how long it takes, I will complete our work together and do it right.
